Excavation of Ground Floor
The excavation of the ground floor has started and the stone removed has been used as the hardcore for the drive.
Work has started
The hedge is down and the drive dug out – a great start.

More stripping out
More stripping out – the choir stalls, alter rails and pulpit are out and stowed away – they will eventually become features on the finished build.
Electricity Day
Well it’s taken a day of phone calls, but I think we will have the electricity sorted soon.

Desperately seeking slate
We are in the search for matching slate – we want to restore the current roof, but reckon we will need about 2500 extra slates to replace damaged slates.
Parquet Floor
Busy lifting the parquet floor, we hope to restore and reuse later in the project.
Fence Up
The fence is now up between us and the grave yard.
Ours at last
Well, after a summer of working with planners, solicitors, estate agents and ecologists, the “former St. John’s Church” in Libanus, today is officially ours.
The project is far from complete, we now start the journey of getting planning permission.
