Weekend in Crickhowell and Llangattock

We’re having a lovely weekend in Crickhowell and Llangattock. We’re staying at the Horseshoe Inn, Llangattock, which is full of inspirational ideas for using salvaged resources.

We’ve visited Webbs in Crickhowell where we’ve discovered a great range of Dimplex artificial log burner stoves which we think will be the solution to our needs.

We’ve also visited Beatrice and Maud in Crickhowell, who have a lovely mix of antique items that will really fit into the conversion, just need to hold off a while until we know where everything will fit.

An exciting week . . .

With the concrete down, it’s full steam ahead with the studwork. This starts with a course of 3 bricks, which are almost all down. The studwork will go on top of this.

The kitchen had also arrived and had been put into storage until it’s needed, hopefully not too long!
